Are you a fan of the classic style and love to indulge in a retro or vintage look? If so, the handy AALBORG RUSTICA collar is right up your street. The D-ring is located on the clasp of this simple leather collar and is firmly stitched into place. The collar is made of strong, pleasantly supple, soft full-grain cowhide leather. This is dyed as well as being specially tanned and oiled, so it is particularly durable and hard-wearing. Like all leather products in the HUNTER range, AALBORG RUSTICA is made by hand in our own manufactory. This way we guarantee the very best quality, which you and your four-legged friend will enjoy for a long time to come. Notice: Our leather is produced as gently as possible. With a dyed leather there may be a slight discolouration.

Measure the circumference of your dog’s neck (A) by placing a flexible tape measure around the middle of the neck. The tape measure should be tight but not restrict your dog. Leave approximately one finger’s breadth between the tape measure and your dog. Because the specifications for adjusting our various collars usually overlap slightly, you do not necessarily have to use the first or last hole to guarantee an optimal fit. Should the circumference of the neck of your dog be at the upper end of the measurements specified then you can alternatively choose the next larger size. This is especially recommended for dogs that are still growing.
Our collar sizes (e.g. size. 30) relate to the total length of the material used without taking the buckle and the fastener into consideration. It should be noted that when considering the range of adjustments the first value relates to the smallest and the second value to the largest adjustment possible.
For the care of leather it is always highly recommended: "Less is more." Most leathers are already greased and require minimal refinishing, this is ideal for a leather care oil, or light leather grease (such as from HUNTER) suitable. If the product has become wet, rapid drying of the material, e.g. on the heater, is not advisable. Dabbing and slow drying will help maintain the quality of your product. In addition, we recommend to ensure that no moisture remains on the metal fittings. The product should be stored in a straight line, or stored accordingly. With proper handling and appropriate care, you will enjoy the usual HUNTER quality for a long time.
