The ELK PETIT adjustable leash is ideal for small dogs. This is down to the light and soft material and the lightweight rings and carabiners. Leashes that are tailored towards larger dogs can be too heavy for small dogs and pull strongly on the collar. Leashes in keeping with the delicate physique of smaller dogs avoid this unnecessary encumbrance. Thanks to the slender design, the extremely light rings and carabiners, and not least the leather used to make the leash, the ELK PETIT 3-length adjustable leash is more comfortable for your small dog to wear. An agreeable side effect is the visual appeal created by the leash and collar having suitable proportions for the size of your dog. The lightweight, soft Scandinavian elk leather moreover makes the ELK PETIT adjustable leash comfortable and easy to hold while you’re out on a walk. Notice: Our leather is produced as gently as possible. With a dyed leather there may be a slight discolouration.

Elk leather is one of the finest leather of the world. For elk leather the care and handling is especially important. Elk leather should not be exposed to extrem moisture or dirt, as this will damage the leather and the extremly fine leather will look worn.
For the care of the leather it is always recommended: »Less is more!« Elk leather is already greased and only requires a minimum of regreasing. For this purpose, HUNTER has a special leather care product but you can also use baby lotion. If the leather gets wet, it should be ensured that no moisture remains on the metal parts. Quick drying of the leather, for example on the radiator, is not advisable. It is recommended that the articles are dabbed off and dried slowly. Please pay attention to the fact that leather products should not be exposed to extreme wetness. The wellknown HUNTER quality of the leather articles can only be maintained if those are treated correspondingly.
