Ghostly greetings from Canada!

»October was quite an unusual month. At the beginning of the month Freya was still swimming in the sea - with an outside temperature of 20 degrees and sunshine. A few days later it was even too cold for Freya to go into the water. She finds 3 degrees and an icy cold wind totally uncomfortable. The Indian Summer in Nova Scotia transforms the trees into a colorful fairytale forest.

We enjoy the last rays of sunshine during long hikes and get out our winter jackets. It is getting cold. Freya snuggles up under our blanket in the van. At night it gets fresh and most of the time the heating in our van is already running. It is really cozy when we park on a beach and watch the rough sea with a tea in our hands and Freya on our laps. During our walks on the beach we hardly meet other walkers or dogs anymore. Some Canadians will leave Nova Scotia for the coming winter months to spend the winter in milder regions of Canada. It's Halloween and Freya is looking forward to her walk in the morning despite the cold.

Of course we want to take some spooky Halloween pictures of Freya this year. Second Peninsula Park, where we are testing the myHUNTER app for the first time and are immediately thrilled, seems to be a great location for some scary pictures. Can you discover the ghost? Trick or treat! We will now use the myHUNTER app regularly on our hikes. Be curious which big tour we will record next month first!«
